Ronn Tice - Artistic Adviser and Guest Choreographer
Ronn Tice has been a dance professional for over 30 years.  He performed as a soloist in companies in both Europe and North America including The Royal Winnipeg Ballet, The Zurich Opera Ballet, The Grand Theatre of Geneva, American Ballet Theatre and Pacific Northwest Ballet.  He has worked for and with some of the greatest artists of the 20th century including Balanchine, Baryshnikov, De Mille, McMillan, Nureyev, Tudor, Tetley and others.  As a Ballet/Master Teacher and choreographer he has created over 30 original works ranging from full-length classical  ballets to Jazz and avant-garde contemporary Dance/Theatre. Mr. Tice holds a B.F.A from the University of Minnesota and is currently on the faculty of The UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance.  Mr. Tice set his choreography on CCDE for Ballet Amore as well as for L'affaire de Ballet.
 
Susan Bieniek - Legal Adviser, Treasurer, and Costume Coordinator
Susan Bieniek, J.D. has been practicing law for over 20 years.  She currently is in a solo practice representing private clients regarding injury and disability issues. In the past she has been the administrative partner of a small law firm where she managed staffing, office logistics, policies and procedures, and all accounting and tax matters.  Throughout her law career she has also volunteered for local ballet schools and companies assisting with the construction of costumes for full length performances such as The Nutcracker and served as a backstage dresser for many performances.  She served on the Minnetonka Dance Theatre and School’s Youth Ballet Company Parent Committee for several years writing parent informational newsletters, and worked on many performance, marketing, and fund raising projects.  The Minnetonka Youth Ballet Company was an adjudicated member of Regional Dance America and she accompanied the Company when it traveled to festivals throughout the country, and worked with many other volunteers in festival organization projects when the Company hosted the 2000 festival in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Susan also acted as CCDE's Costume Coordinator for Ballet Amore.
 
Kari Jensen - Board Member and Guest Choreographer
Kari Jensen trained with the Marin Ballet, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet schools.  She was the Principal Dancer for Ballet Spokane, and has performed principal and soloist roles with numerous Twin Cities companies including Ballet Minnesota, Metropolitan Ballet, and Continental Ballet Company.  In 2008 she began her own company, Moving Arts Ensemble, which performed at various venues in the Twin Cities area.  Kari has received critical acclaim for her choreography since 2005.  Kari currently lives in Spokane, Washington and works with CCDE remotely.  Kari's original work of choreography, A Single Thought, Amplified, was performed in L'affaire de Ballet.
 
Kenny Kiser - Board Member
Kenny Kiser is a multidisciplinary performing artist and arts educator.  He has worked as a singer, dancer, actor (stage and film), pianist, aerialist, and stunt person.  In Minneapolis he has performed with such prestigious companies as Theatre de la Jeune Lune, New Breath Productions, Theater Latte Da, The Minnesota Opera, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Xelias Aerial Arts, Blue Phoenix Circus Troupe, The Southern Theater, and The James Sewell Ballet.  For five years he served as Artistic Director for New Breath Productions, a musical theatre learning collaborative he founded to give students of music the opportunity to work side by side with professional artists.  In addition to his work with New Breath, he has acted as director and/or music director for other local groups, including The Minnesota Opera Venture, Stage Coach Theatre Arts, Stepping Stone, and Ramsey International Fine Arts School.  A teacher at heart, Kenny has taught private voice and piano lessons for over 15 years, and artists he has taught are performing and/or teaching throughout the country. He has also taught group voice and directed the adult and children’s choirs at Macalester Plymouth United Church in St. Paul.  Kenny holds degrees in vocal performance and vocal pedagogy as well as postgraduate study in developing the child voice.  Kenny is proud to have been an advocate for the arts as member of the Minneapolis Arts Commission.  CCDE frequently performs in Kenny's variety show, The Kenny Kiser Show.
 
Colleen Tague - Board Member and Guest Choreographer
Colleen Tague has been dancing professionally in the Twin Cities for over 20 years.  She has worked with Zenon Dance Company, Minnesota Dance Theatre, Children’s Theatre Company, Ballet of the Dolls, Metropolitan Ballet, JAZZDANCE by Danny Buraczeski, and many independent projects.  Her work with JAZZDANCE was very rewarding and influential to her work.  She has also taught all over the metro area from Forest Lake to Apple Valley. She is excited to be working with her friends at Cities Ballet in their new venture.  Colleen's original work of Choreography, Such Sweet Thunder, was created on and performed by the CCDE dancers in Ballet Amore.
