Description: Prometheus was originally choreographed by Tice on dancers at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Tice visited Minneapolis in May 2011 to set the piece on CCDE. Prometheus is an elegant, modern day interpretation of the mythological tale of struggle between the titan Prometheus and Zeus - king of the gods. Six seductive female dancers (the piece was performed with only five ladies in Ballet Amore) show sympathy to their champion Prometheus but are compelled by Zeus to inflict eternal imprisonment and torture upon him.
